Saipem Taqa Al-Rushaid Fabricators Company Ltd. (STAR) was established in 2007 as a limited liability partnership between Taqa Al-Rushaid for Marine Works co. Ltd. and Saipem International BV. STAR is a pioneer in the engineering design and construction of offshore platforms for Saudi Aramco at King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This initiative of fabricating platforms for offshore oil and gas fields is the first of its kind in the Kingdom, making STAR an industry leader. The company fabricates and loads out offshore facilities from a 500,000+ square meter fabrication yard with an annual production capacity of 30,000 metric tons of offshore structures.
