About the Role

Weatherford is seeking an Application Engineer - Thru Tubing Services to drive the growth, promotion, and technical application of its Thru Tubing product line. This full-time position focuses on Fishing, Milling, Packers, and Well Intervention solutions, combining strong technical expertise with commercial and customer-facing responsibilities. The role involves providing technical support throughout the sales and service process, developing job designs, and identifying new business opportunities.

Role Context and Objectives

The Application Engineer will act as a key technical interface, working closely with Sales, Operations, Product Line Management, and customers. The primary objective is to develop technically sound solutions that align with customer requirements, while also supporting revenue growth, market share expansion, service quality, and overall customer satisfaction. The role also contributes to mentoring field personnel and promoting Weatherford technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical and application support for Thru Tubing Fishing, Milling, Packers, and Well Intervention products and services.
• Develop job designs, technical recommendations, and operational programs to meet customer requirements safely and efficiently.
• Support job planning, execution, troubleshooting, and service quality in collaboration with Sales, Operations, and Product Line Management.
• Act as a key technical interface with customers, understanding their requirements and developing effective Weatherford solutions.
• Support sales and business development through technical proposals, tenders, quotations, customer presentations, and opportunity development.
• Promote Weatherford Thru Tubing technologies and services to support revenue growth, market share, and customer satisfaction.
• Identify new business opportunities and provide market intelligence on customer requirements, projects, competitors, and market trends.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare technical reports, job documentation, presentations, application guidelines, and training materials.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to field personnel and junior team members, supporting competency and knowledge development.
• Collaborate across Sales, Operations, Product Line Management, Quality, and HSE to ensure effective service delivery.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated technical expertise in Thru Tubing product lines, including Fishing, Milling, Packers, and Well Intervention solutions.
• Ability to develop technical and commercial proposals.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for customer and internal stakeholder engagement.
