Tanajib Operation and Maintenance Company operates a Power Cogeneration Plant and Seawater Desalination Plant in the Eastern region. These facilities were constructed as part of the Marjan Field Project of Saudi Aramco. The plant has a net capacity of approximately 940 MW of electricity generation, a steam output of approximately 1,084 tons per hour, and a desalinated water output of approximately 19,470 cubic meters per day.

About the Role

The Lead Electrical Engineer will report directly to the Maintenance & Engineering Manager. This full-time role involves leading the electrical maintenance team to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective maintenance across the Tanajib Cogeneration and Desalination Plants. The position requires 5-10 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing routine and preventive electrical maintenance activities.
• Managing electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• Planning and executing planned and unplanned outages.
• Collaborating with Operations, other maintenance disciplines, contractors, and OEM representatives to ensure activities are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Developing maintenance programs through the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Supporting long-term service contracts and managing electrical equipment life cycles.
• Implementing engineering practices in accordance with OEM requirements and applicable standards.
• Overseeing maintenance budgeting and technical reporting.
• Contributing to team development and continuous improvement initiatives to support plant availability, reliability, and performance targets.
