Role Overview

AbbVie is seeking a Product Specialist, Immunology for a full-time position based in Abha. This role focuses on executing brand strategy and tactics in the field, driving sales performance, and effectively managing an assigned territory and targeted accounts. The Product Specialist will build strong customer relationships and develop capabilities to address customer needs, aiming to maximize both short and long-term sales performance. All efforts must prioritize the patient and adhere to AbbVie’s business code of conduct, policies, and all applicable laws and regulations. This position is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver sales performance, brand Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), financial targets, and marketing objectives.
  • Create pre-call plans using SMART objectives and execute post-call evaluations to continuously improve sales performance.
  • Effectively handle objections, misunderstandings, and concerns, consistently gaining logical and reasonable calls to action on every sales call.
  • Proactively and continuously aspire to serve customer needs, expectations, and challenges to build trusted customer relationships and achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Develop and execute a call plan that achieves set call metrics and optimizes coverage and frequency to key customers to maximize access and sales opportunities.
  • Continuously build understanding of customer needs and expectations, territory market landscape, competitors, market segments/dynamics, accounts, disease, product, clinical, and sales expertise. Share this market intelligence information with the in-field team, brand team, and sales manager to achieve alignment, anticipate environmental changes and challenges, and optimize brand strategy and its execution.
  • Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition with assigned health providers and identify, develop, and maintain disease state experts and speakers/advocates to maximize brand performance.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Studies.
  • 0-1 years of relevant industry experience, with a preference for experience in Specialty Care Therapy areas.
  • Practical knowledge and understanding of Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) and disease area requirements.
  • Good understanding of market challenges and opportunities.
