About the Product Manager Role

Almoosa Health Group is seeking a Product Manager to oversee product strategy and execution within the eyewear category. This full-time position is based in Al-Ahsa and requires 5-10 years of experience. The role focuses on ensuring the product offering remains competitive, profitable, and aligned with customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

The Product Manager will be responsible for a range of critical functions to optimize the eyewear product portfolio. This includes:

  • Defining and managing the eyewear assortment across all branches, including brand mix, price tiers, and category roles.
  • Planning seasonal collections and new product introductions (NPI), from initial selection through to launch.
  • Maintaining product master data and establishing selling prices and margin targets in accordance with pricing policies.
  • Monitoring category profitability, sell-through rates, and stock turnover, while managing promotions, markdowns, and clearance activities.
  • Forecasting demand, coordinating replenishment with procurement and warehouse teams, and actively reducing slow-moving stock.
  • Analyzing market trends and competitor activities to inform strategy and setting merchandising standards.
  • Training sales and optometry teams on product knowledge and reporting category and stock performance to management.

Required Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Optics, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in product or category management, with a preference for experience in optical or eyewear retail.
  • Solid knowledge of eyewear products and the optical category.
  • Proficiency in Oracle (ERP), Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint, along with general computer skills.

Essential Skills and Competencies

Successful candidates will demonstrate strong capabilities in the following areas:

  • Commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Analytical skills for data interpretation and decision-making.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Fluency in both English and Arabic is preferred.

Work Context

This is a full-time position located in Al-Ahsa. The role involves direct engagement with product lifecycle management, market analysis, and cross-functional team collaboration to drive product success within Almoosa Health Group's optical division.
