Cost Control Engineer

About the Role

HUDSON is seeking a Cost Control Engineer to join their team in Al Jubail, Eastern Province. This full-time position requires a professional with strong experience in the Oil & Gas sector, particularly within EPC, Shutdown, and Turnaround (SD/TA) projects. The role involves applying cost control principles to ensure project financial objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Implementing and maintaining cost control systems for projects.
• Monitoring project expenditures against budgets and forecasts.
• Preparing detailed cost reports and analyses.
• Identifying potential cost overruns and recommending corrective actions.
• Collaborating with project teams to ensure financial discipline.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant technical qualification.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with Primavera P6.
• Strong experience in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Refinery industry.
• Experience in Shutdown & Turnaround (SD/TA) projects is highly preferred.
• Candidates with prior experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC region are preferred.
• Additional certification in Cost Control, Project Controls, or Quantity Surveying is an advantage.

Compensation

The basic salary for this position ranges from SAR 5,000 to SAR 7,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
