About the Electrical Technician II Role

KBR Saudi Arabia is seeking an Electrical Technician II to join our team in Al Jubail. This full-time role involves leading, supervising, and coordinating day-to-day Instrument maintenance activities, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, supervise, and coordinate day-to-day Instrument maintenance activities.
Develop maintenance activities for all Instrument systems, plant, equipment, and facilities within the designated area.
Act as the focal point for daily Instrument maintenance execution plans.
Ensure technicians comply with SATORP's Safety and Quality procedures during maintenance activities.
Conduct frequent site visits to ensure proper work execution and check on routine maintenance activities.
Lead technicians assigned to the area.
Receive work directions from the Instrument foreman and translate these directions into actions.
Follow up on Instrument maintenance work progress and submit regular progress reports with recommendations.
Keep records of daily maintenance works against planned maintenance programs and prepare work completion reports, where applicable.
Work closely with the Instrument foreman in recommending and implementing changes aimed at improving the availability and reliability of Instrument/instrument systems.
Assist in implementing engineering modifications and enhancements to Instrument equipment.
Enforce SATORP’s policies, procedures, and regulations and ensure that all safety measures and precautions are strictly considered and taken care of during conducting onsite maintenance works.
Ensure that personnel have the skills, training, and all needed resources, equipment, and tools to conduct routine maintenance activities in a safe and effective manner, according to the contract terms and conditions.

Qualifications and Certifications

Experience:
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in Oil & Gas maintenance with a High School qualification.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in Oil & Gas maintenance with a Diploma.
Certifications:
- Hold a valid certification issued by a recognized third-party certification body or an accredited Saudi institute, attesting to the individual’s qualifications and competency to perform the works.

Technical Knowledge and Essential Skills

Technical Knowledge:
- Strong technical understanding of maintenance management of Oil & Gas Facilities.
- Strong knowledge of maintaining and repairing Instrument systems.
- Good knowledge in Instrument equipment design, installation, and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of maintaining and repairing Mechanical and electro-hydraulic systems.
- Good knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance principles and working procedures.
- Strong knowledge of standards, procedures, and regulations to develop activities taking care of Health, Safety, and Environmental preservation.
