KBR, Inc. is seeking an RCM Engineer for a full-time position in Al Jubail, Eastern region. Overview of the RCM Engineer Role

The RCM Engineer will coordinate and execute responsibilities related to establishing and governing the Total Reliability Program Framework within a refinery. This role is critical for safeguarding asset reliability throughout its remaining lifecycle, ensuring operational excellence and continuous improvement in the Oil, Gas, and petrochemical industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop frameworks and methodologies for criticality assessment and reliability improvement programs for refinery assets.
• Lead and conduct Asset Criticality Analysis for all refinery assets, including data collection, workshop facilitation, report compilation, and SAP data population.
• Champion the implementation of various reliability methodologies by establishing robust reliability programs to sustain operational excellence.
• Serve as the primary contact for technical reviews and matters concerning reliability culture development in projects and operating facilities.
• Administer and execute Asset Lifecycle management procedures, including Asset criticality ranking, SAP Taxonomy, Asset Operating Limits [IOW], maintenance development, Master data developments in SAP, Bill of Materials (BOM) in SAP, and SAP-PMs implementation and effectiveness.
• Initiate and conduct studies for facility and operational asset improvements, provide specialized technical service, and consult on complex engineering problems.
• Adapt lessons learned from benchmarks and safety cases, providing recommendations to ensure continuous assurance for Safety-Critical Equipment within the Total Reliability program.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to analyze integrity and performance, suggesting methods for preventing chronic failures and supporting the review of Total Reliability program KPIs.
• Report to the Project Manager, leading the Reliability section to deliver periodic outcomes and project progress reports.
• Work closely with the project execution team to ensure commitment to the Reliability Transformation Program.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the Oil, Gas, or petrochemical industry.
• Experience with static and rotating equipment, instrument, and electrical systems, including an understanding of their failure modes and potential solutions (desirable).
• Experience in operations, maintenance, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and handover activities (an advantage).

Required Skills and Attributes

• Proficient awareness of key performance indicators (KPIs) related to plant operation reliability, with the ability to support and drive these KPIs.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities effectively within a diversified and critical environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
