About the Role

Datamatics Technologies is seeking a BI Developer/Consultant to join our team in Al Jubail, Eastern region. This full-time role involves developing comprehensive Business Intelligence solutions and engaging directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements.

Role Overview

The BI Developer/Consultant will be responsible for building end-to-end BI solutions, from data modeling to visualization and deployment. A key aspect of this role is the ability to act as a consultant, translating business needs into actionable dashboards and reports rather than solely focusing on report generation.

Key Responsibilities

Develop end-to-end BI solutions, encompassing data modeling, visualization, and deployment.
Gather requirements directly from business stakeholders and translate them into effective dashboards and reports.
Build and troubleshoot ETL/ELT data pipelines that feed BI layers.
Optimize SQL queries, develop stored procedures, and manage complex joins.

Required Qualifications and Skills

4-6+ years of experience in building end-to-end BI solutions.
Strong hands-on expertise in at least one major BI tool (Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik).
Proficiency in SQL, including query optimization, stored procedures, and complex joins.
Experience with data modeling (star schema, dimensional modeling).
Demonstrated ability to gather and translate business requirements into BI solutions.
Proficiency in DAX or an equivalent calculation language, particularly if Power BI-centric.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Microsoft Fabric or similar unified analytics platforms.
Exposure to Python or R for advanced analytics integrated into BI layers.
Experience presenting to executive or C-level audiences.
Domain experience in operations, logistics, parking, or municipal data.
Familiarity with data governance and row-level security implementation.
Prior consulting background, including client-facing engagements, scoping, and stakeholder management.
