About the Role

Tasnee is seeking an Engineer II, Production Planning to join its team in Al Jubail. This full-time role involves preparing production plans for Polymer and Chemical assets, focusing on balancing decision-making processes for all stakeholders through the Sales and Operation Planning (S&OP) process to ensure optimal production levels. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to prepare comprehensive production plans, coordinating with supply chain, marketers, and operations teams for Polymer and Chemical assets. The Engineer II will facilitate and balance decision-making processes for all stakeholders through the Sales and Operation Planning (S&OP) framework, aiming to achieve and maintain optimum levels of production.

Key Responsibilities

• Illustrate Polymer and Chemical Production planning to all stakeholders to ensure yearly grade-wise business needs align with the business plan and the S&OP process.
• Monitor Joint Venture (JV) off-takers to support and ensure smooth execution, resulting in S&OP compliance and accurate supply-demand of products.
• Monitor and maintain off-taker performance and compliance as per the Off-Take Agreements (OTA).
• Maintain the IBP module in SAP, ensuring all required production data is entered accurately and on time.
• Align the SBU PetChem budget cycle between Manufacturing and business at a grade-wise level.
• Monitor JV customer complaint processes to balance maximum customer satisfaction with process efficiency.
• Collaborate and align with stakeholders to define and execute common business processes and objectives that benefit the Joint Ventures.
• Monitor day-to-day Planning & Scheduling activities to achieve high performance results and meet established targets and objectives.
• Provide analysis and data reports to management and other departments.
• Assist in determining financial methods and prepare statistical reports.
• Track, maintain, analyze, and provide S&OP compliance and supply accuracy of key performance indicators (KPIs).

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in production planning or a related field.
• Demonstrated understanding of supply chain, marketing, and operations within the chemical or polymer industry.
• Proficiency in Sales and Operation Planning (S&OP) processes.
• Experience with SAP, particularly the IBP module, is required.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Al Jubail, requiring collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders including supply chain, marketers, operations, and joint venture partners.
