About the Role

Abdullah A. Al-Barrak & Son Co. is seeking a full-time Extrusion Sheet Line Machine Operator (Plastic) to join our manufacturing facility in Al Jubail, Eastern Province. This role involves the management and operation of extrusion equipment to produce high-quality plastic sheets. The successful candidate will be responsible for the setup, running, and maintenance of plastic extrusion sheet line machines.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this position is to ensure the continuous and efficient production of plastic sheets. This includes monitoring machine performance, conducting routine maintenance, and promptly troubleshooting any issues that arise. Attention to detail and strict adherence to safety and quality standards are essential for success in this role, contributing directly to product quality and operational integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor extrusion sheet line machines to produce plastic sheets, specifically PC (Polycarbonate Sheet).
• Set up machines, including tooling and parameters adjustments, prior to production runs.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards during all operations.
• Maintain accurate production records and report any deviations or concerns to supervisors.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team for repairs and preventive maintenance activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience as an extrusion machine operator in the plastic industry.
• Technical training in plastics processing is considered an advantage.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Knowledge of extrusion sheet line machinery and various plastic materials.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks and troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality awareness.
• Good understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to manufacturing operations.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions accurately.

This is a full-time position located at our manufacturing facility in Al Jubail, Eastern Province. The role requires hands-on experience in plastic extrusion processes and a strong commitment to maintaining product quality within a collaborative team environment.
