The Role: Inspector, Visual Dimension Inspection

AMTPJ is seeking an Inspector for Visual Dimension Inspection (VDI) to join its team in Al Jubail. This role is fundamental to the quality control process, focusing on the meticulous inspection of casing pipes. The VDI Inspector ensures that all products meet stringent applicable standards, internal procedures, and specific customer requirements before dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive inspections of casing pipes, adhering to established standards, procedures, and customer specifications.
• Conduct visual inspections of the external pipe surface in accordance with TF requirements and specified inspection criteria.
• Verify traceability markings to ensure accurate product identification and compliance with all relevant requirements.
• Complete and maintain all required inspection reports, registers, and logs with precision and accuracy.
• Report inspection issues, process deviations, and recurring product nonconformities promptly to the QC Shift Supervisor.
• Collaborate with Screw-On Operators, providing constructive feedback to support process adjustments and enhance overall product quality.
• Execute assigned tasks efficiently and effectively under the direction of the immediate supervisor.
• Maintain and manage procedures, work instructions, and other controlled documents relevant to the role.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 0-1 years of experience in a relevant inspection or quality control role.
• Demonstrated ability to follow detailed procedures, work instructions, and company documentation accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
• Ability to accurately complete and maintain records and reports.

Work Environment and Collaboration

The VDI Inspector operates within a structured manufacturing environment, working closely with production and quality control teams. This role requires effective communication and collaboration, particularly with Screw-On Operators and the QC Shift Supervisor, to ensure seamless operations and continuous quality improvement. The position is full-time, based in Al Jubail.
