Role Overview

KBR Saudi Arabia is seeking an Instrument Technician (Level III) for a full-time position in Al Jubail. This role involves leading, supervising, and coordinating daily instrument maintenance activities for all instrument systems, plant, equipment, and facilities within a designated area of responsibility. The Instrument Technician serves as the primary point of contact for daily instrument maintenance execution plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure technicians adhere to SATORP's Safety and Quality procedures during instrument maintenance activities.
• Conduct frequent site visits to monitor work execution and technician activities during routine maintenance.
• Lead technicians assigned to the area of responsibility.
• Receive and translate work directions from the Instrument Foreman regarding instrument systems maintenance orders/requests into actionable plans.
• Monitor instrument maintenance work progress and submit regular reports with recommendations to the Instrument Foreman.
• Maintain records of daily maintenance works against planned programs and prepare work completion reports as required.
• Collaborate with the Instrument Foreman to recommend and implement changes aimed at improving the availability and reliability of instrument systems.
• Assist in implementing engineering modifications and enhancements to instrument equipment by providing recommendations to increase suitability and serviceability.
• Enforce SATORP’s policies, procedures, and regulations, ensuring all safety measures and precautions are strictly observed during onsite maintenance.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 6-10 years of relevant experience and demonstrate the following:

• Proactive safety aptitude and behavior.
• Strong knowledge of maintaining and repairing instrument systems.
• Good knowledge of instrument equipment design, installation, and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of maintaining and repairing mechanical and electro-hydraulic systems.
• Good knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance principles and procedures.
• Strong knowledge of standards, procedures, and regulations pertaining to Health, Safety, and Environmental preservation.

• Synergistic and capable of handling multiple tasks effectively.
• Good command of oral and written English.
• Ability to ensure personnel have the necessary skills, training, resources, equipment, and tools to conduct routine maintenance activities safely and effectively, in accordance with contract terms.
