The Role: QA/QC Electrical Engineer

KBR Saudi Arabia is seeking a QA/QC Electrical Engineer to join its team in Al Jubail. This full-time position involves technical and supervisory responsibilities focused on electrical works, ensuring compliance with international standards and codes.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor the progress of electrical works, installation, and commissioning across various units.
• Plan and manage the inspection of all electrical works and related activities.
• Oversee testing and commissioning procedures for electrical works.
• Conduct final inspections of completed electrical works prior to client handover.
• Review electrical shop drawings and vendor drawings to ensure compliance with contract documents.
• Assess electrical material submittals for adherence to contract documents.
• Verify electrical specifications and calculations for conformance with contract documents.
• Implement the Electrical Quality Assurance Plan.
• Review as-built drawings for mechanical works, operation and maintenance manuals, and warranties.
• Ensure strict compliance with all safety procedures.
• Promote the reporting of unsafe acts and conditions.
• Adhere to all Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) procedures before and during work activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Demonstrated experience in testing and commissioning of electrical works.
• Knowledge of international standards and codes relevant to electrical works.
• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience is required for this role.
