About the Role

Applicantz is seeking an experienced Technical Evaluator Operations for a contract position based in Al Jubail, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This role is crucial for providing technical assessment, evaluation, and operational support across critical refinery process units.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this position is to ensure the optimal performance, reliability, and compliance of refinery operations with established engineering and safety standards. The Technical Evaluator Operations will conduct thorough assessments and provide essential technical guidance to maintain operational integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct technical evaluations and performance assessments of refinery process units and operations.
• Provide operational and technical support for specific units, including Fluidized Catalytic Cracking Unit (FCCU), Unsaturated Gas Plant, Alkylation Unit, Sulfuric Acid Recovery Unit, and Selective Hydrogenation Unit.
• Review and analyze process data to identify performance gaps, deviations, and opportunities for improvement.
• Evaluate operational procedures, technical proposals, and contractor submissions related to process units.
• Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and technical investigations for process upsets.
• Coordinate with process engineering, operations, and maintenance teams on unit performance and reliability.
• Ensure evaluations align with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), quality, and refinery operating standards.
• Prepare technical evaluation reports and recommendations for operational improvements.
• Support turnaround planning and technical readiness reviews for relevant units.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in technical evaluation or operations within a refinery environment.
• Prior experience in a Saudi Aramco or other major refinery environment is preferred.

Work Arrangement and Location

This is a contract position located in Al Jubail, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. The role requires on-site presence to provide direct support and evaluation within refinery operations.
