About the Role

TASNEE is seeking a qualified Electrical Technician to join its team in Al Jubail, KSA. This full-time position reports directly to the Electrical Supervisor and is central to the electrical maintenance section, requiring a professional with extensive operational experience.

Role Purpose

The Electrical Technician is responsible for overseeing and executing electrical maintenance activities within the plant. This role involves applying technical and supervisory skills to ensure the efficient operation and upkeep of electrical systems, supporting the broader electrical team in maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and organize all necessary resources for maintenance jobs, whether executed directly, through the team, or by contractors, to ensure timely completion and adherence to quality and safety standards.
  • Allocate and schedule manpower for various maintenance tasks to meet daily objectives, in line with company and industry work procedure standards.
  • Respond promptly to emergency repairs to restore failed machines or equipment to operational status as quickly as possible.
  • Review and re-evaluate preventive maintenance schedules for assigned equipment, including motors, transformers, MCC switchgear, UPS, and VSB, to align with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
  • Ensure the workplace is consistently maintained in a clean and tidy condition, adhering to company standards.
  • Adhere to all HSE regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Lead daily toolbox talks with technicians, highlighting any safety issues pertinent to assigned work.
  • Be available on standby when required for urgent or contingent plant needs, such as plant turnaround or shutdown call-outs, and arrange suitable technicians for emergency jobs.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 10 years of operational experience in an electrical maintenance department within the chemical or petrochemical industry.
  • Awareness of MS Office and SAP systems.

Work Environment and Expectations

This is a full-time role based in Al Jubail, KSA, requiring a proactive approach to maintenance and a strong commitment to safety. The position involves being on standby for urgent plant requirements and leading safety discussions to foster a secure and efficient working environment.
