About the Role

Johnson Controls Arabia is seeking a Control Technician to join their team in Al Khobar. This full-time role involves installing and commissioning system field devices, as well as troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Install basic required system field devices.
• Perform commissioning using standard configuration and commissioning tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in existing systems.
• Respond to basic warranty calls.
• Keep Johnson Controls, contractors, and customers informed of job progress and any issues that arise.
• Deliver output according to specific operational targets.
• Explain facts, practices, and policies to both internal and external parties.
• Correct or resolve issues in existing systems and processes, including making minor changes.

Problem Solving and Knowledge Application

The role primarily involves addressing problems and issues within a single job area or discipline, where the scope of the problem is well-defined. Less frequently, problems may be vaguely defined, requiring an understanding and consideration of other job areas. This position requires specialized knowledge of specific commercial, technical, trades, or office operations, with less frequent application of broad theory and principles within a professional discipline or advanced technical/operational practices.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A 2-year degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of 4 years of suggested experience in a related field.

Work Environment and Scope

This is an individual contributor role with no direct responsibility for leading others. The application of knowledge is focused domestically and limited to locations within a country or neighboring countries with similar cultural contexts.
