The Role of Procurement Officer

Rooqain Trading is seeking a Procurement Officer to join its team in Al Khobar, Eastern Region. This is a full-time, on-site position responsible for managing the end-to-end purchasing process. The role focuses on acquiring project materials, equipment, and power solutions, and is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience in procurement or a related field.

Key Responsibilities

Identify potential suppliers, solicit and evaluate quotations, and issue purchase orders.
Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms.
Monitor supplier performance, ensuring timely delivery of materials in adherence to project specifications and quality standards.
Maintain accurate procurement records and conduct analysis of purchasing data to inform decisions.
Coordinate closely with project, logistics, and finance teams to ensure procurement activities align with project timelines and budgetary constraints.
Support the continuous improvement of procurement processes and ensure strict adherence to company policies and relevant regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for the Procurement Officer position should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience. A foundational understanding of procurement principles and supply chain operations is beneficial for this role.

Work Environment
