QC Inspector Mechanical (Static / Rotating Equipment)

About the Role

UNISIS Engineering is seeking a qualified QC Inspector – Mechanical (Static / Rotating Equipment) to join our team in Al Khobar, Eastern region. This full-time role involves performing inspection and quality control activities for static and rotating equipment, ensuring compliance with project specifications and Aramco standards. The inspector will monitor installation, testing, and inspection activities, adhering to approved ITPs, international codes, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of static and rotating equipment in accordance with approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and project specifications.
• Verify compliance with Aramco standards and SAP approval requirements.
• Perform stage-wise inspections during equipment installation, alignment, and testing phases.
• Review technical documents, engineering drawings, and inspection reports.
• Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and client inspectors to ensure smooth inspection processes.
• Ensure all inspection activities meet ISO 9001:2015 quality management standards.
• Identify non-conformities and support the implementation of corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting records for all inspection activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 7+ years of experience in mechanical inspection is required, with a total experience range of 5-10 years.
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Aramco Approval (SAP Number) is mandatory.
• Must hold API certification (API 510, API 653 or equivalent).
• Aramco CBT Qualification is preferred.
• ISO 9001:2015 certification is preferred.

Required Skills

The successful candidate must possess strong technical knowledge of API standards and demonstrate hands-on experience in field inspection environments. This includes the ability to interpret technical documents and drawings, identify non-conformities, and ensure adherence to stringent quality standards.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. The role requires active participation in site-based inspection activities and coordination with various project stakeholders.
