Senior Accountant

About the Role

Tamimi Commercial is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join its Finance team in Al Khobar, Eastern Region. This is a full-time position requiring 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Role Overview

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing core accounting activities and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records. The role supports timely month-end and year-end closing processes, prepares financial reports, and ensures compliance with applicable accounting standards and Saudi regulatory requirements. This position also contributes to strengthening internal controls, improving accounting processes, and enhancing the efficiency of the Finance function through technology, automation, and digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage core accounting activities and maintain the accuracy of financial records.
• Support timely month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and Saudi regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to the enhancement of internal controls and accounting processes.
• Improve the efficiency of the Finance function through technology, automation, and digital solutions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Saudi National.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Saudi accounting and statutory requirements.
• Good knowledge of ZATCA, VAT, Zakat, and FATOORAH e-invoicing requirements.
• Strong experience in General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in month-end and year-end closing and audit support.
• Fluent English is required; Arabic is preferred.
• SOCPA membership or certification is preferred.
• CPA, CMA, or ACCA certification is an advantage.
• Experience in commercial, maintenance, contracting, or service-oriented organizations is preferred.
