About the Role

eXtra is seeking a Copywriter & Content Creator to join the team in Al Khobar. This full-time role supports the MarCom Lead by developing and reviewing marketing content across various customer touchpoints. The position focuses on creating clear, accurate, and on-brand written and short-form video content tailored for different target segments, channels, and stages of the retail journey.

Key Objectives

Ensure all marketing copy adheres to company guidelines, tone of voice, language standards, and approved campaign messages across all channels.
Develop audience-centric content that effectively captures attention, communicates value, and supports customer engagement throughout the retail journey.
Maintain high content quality through meticulous editing, fact-checking, cross-functional coordination, and continuous improvement based on performance insights.

Responsibilities

Review, edit, and proofread copy for digital, social, CRM, e-commerce, print, and in-store channels.
Enforce brand voice, language quality, factual accuracy, legal requirements, and cultural relevance in all content.
Create original copy and mobile-first video concepts for campaigns, promotions, product launches, and evergreen content.
Write headlines, captions, scripts, product descriptions, landing page content, emails, SMS, and point-of-sale (POS) copy.
Plan, shoot, and edit short-form social videos, ensuring strong hooks, clear captions, and effective calls to action.
Adapt written and video content for specific channels, formats, target segments, customer journey stages, and platform trends.
Verify product details, pricing, offers, terms, promotional accuracy, usage rights, and required approvals prior to publication.
Translate creative briefs into integrated content, collaborating with MarCom, Design, Digital, CRM, E-commerce, stores, agencies, and partners.
Manage content calendars and version control, and monitor engagement metrics such as watch time and completion rates.
Oversee briefs, deadlines, ensure publication-ready delivery, and contribute to SEO and performance optimization efforts.

Qualifications and Attributes

0-1 year of experience in a relevant field.
Curious, audience-aware, and culturally sensitive approach to content creation.
Highly detail-oriented with sound judgment and a strong commitment to quality.
Organized and capable of managing multiple briefs, content versions, and deadlines effectively.
Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced retail environment.
Collaborative, receptive to feedback, and possesses clear written and verbal communication skills for engaging with diverse internal teams, agencies, commercial partners, and senior stakeholders.
