About Le Café LPM and the Role

Le Café LPM is preparing for its opening in Al Khobar, Eastern, Saudi Arabia, and is seeking a Head Chef to lead its kitchen operations. Le Café LPM offers an all-day dining experience inspired by the French Riviera, focusing on simple, well-executed dishes. This is a full-time position within the La Petite Maison (LPM) group.

Role Summary

The Head Chef will be responsible for leading the daily kitchen operations for Le Café LPM Al Khobar. This role involves upholding the culinary standards set by the Brand Executive Chef and ensuring the consistent, precise execution of the brand's culinary concept, bringing it to life.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all daily kitchen operations for Le Café LPM Al Khobar.
• Ensure the consistent application of French Mediterranean cuisine principles: light, seasonal, and ingredient-led.
• Lead, inspire, and develop the kitchen brigade, fostering a collaborative culture.
• Manage food cost, portion control, and waste with rigour to maintain profitability without compromising quality.
• Oversee supplier relationships, purchasing, and stock levels to ensure the availability of quality ingredients and minimize waste.
• Ensure adherence to all quality and hygiene standards within the kitchen.

Culinary Vision and Team Development

The Head Chef will be central to realizing the culinary concept, ensuring it remains consistent, precise, and true to the brand. This includes fostering a culture where junior chefs are encouraged to grow and standards are maintained with confidence across a diverse kitchen team.

Operational Oversight

This role requires diligent management of financial aspects related to kitchen operations, including food cost and waste. The Head Chef will also manage the procurement process, ensuring optimal stock levels and strong relationships with suppliers to secure the best ingredients for the establishment.
