IT Manager Multi Property

About the Role

Marriott International is seeking an IT Manager Multi-Property to lead and operate the Information Technology (IT) discipline for properties and managed offices within scope. This full-time position is based in Al Khobar and requires 2-5 years of relevant experience. The role involves managing a team of IT resources and overseeing day-to-day hotel and company office IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support to operations leaders for owner relations and negotiations on IT matters.
• Oversee new opening/acquisition construction, countdown, and live operation once handed over by the direct manager.
• Execute property internet support and collaborate with the direct manager on vendor management and product development for the assigned market.
• Maintain status documentation, monitor IT operations for effectiveness, and provide updates to the direct manager and business points of contact.
• Assist with the activation of potential properties within the cluster by building business cases and engaging partners.

Team and Vendor Management

• Manage IT vendor relationships for properties within scope.
• Participate in the talent acquisition process and ensure effective induction programs for new or transferring associates.
• Train associates to provide backup coverage for the cluster leader's functions.
• Conduct LPAs (Leadership Performance Assessments) to support associate development.
• Foster effective communication, training, and execution of talent development programs.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with direct team members.

Product and Process Oversight

• Stay informed on vendor activities and ensure sufficient vendor choices for owners in each market.
• Deliver pilot phase reviews, recommendations, and document technology pilot scope and objectives with business partners where assigned.
• Maintain IT inventory and manage cluster IT Agreements for assigned properties.
• Ensure timely execution and tracking of rollouts and monitor operating budgets and expenses.
• Verify the effectiveness of resources assigned to IT escalation and tracking processes to meet service level agreements.
• Monitor issue management flow between continent support, vendors, and cluster organizations.
• Implement cluster best practices, suggest enhancements, and adhere to regional IT policies and procedures.
• Ensure planning and accomplishment of technology disaster and contingency plan testing for each property and office.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in Information Technology management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead IT operations and manage a team of IT resources.
• Experience in vendor management and product development.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with business partners and leadership.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Al Khobar, requiring active engagement across multiple properties and managed offices within the cluster. The role involves regular interaction with various stakeholders, including general managers, directors of finance, and regional IT teams.
