Role Overview

As the Loans and Market Intelligence Manager at Al-Qadsiah Saudi Club in Al Khobar, Eastern region, this full-time role involves leading the club’s processes for player loans and placements. The manager will align individual player pathways with market intelligence, partner clubs, and broader strategic objectives. This position ensures that loan decisions are planned, executed, monitored, and reviewed effectively to support player development, squad planning, and asset value protection.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the entire loan cycle, from initial planning and placement to monitoring and final evaluation.
• Oversee and ensure the quality of loan monitoring reports, weekly updates, and mid-loan evaluations for First Team, Emerging Talent, and Academy players.
• Ensure each loaned player has a clear and current Player Pathway Plan, reviewed before each transfer window.
• Collaborate with the Emerging Talent Manager and Head of Academy Scouting to align player pathways.
• Lead the maintenance and effective use of the Market Options Database with the Scouting Coordinator and Lead Scouts.
• Coordinate Club Intelligence and Academy Intelligence reporting across priority markets for loans and player placements.
• Structure and oversee the References Database.
• Co-lead the Monthly Market Intelligence Digest, focusing on loans, placements, regulations, and market trends.
• Work with Scouts to identify suitable destination clubs based on playing model, competitive level, role, environment, language, and realistic playing opportunities.
• Prioritize and track player opportunities through structured market intelligence processes and databases.
• Serve as the primary operational contact with receiving clubs and support decisions regarding recalls, club changes, transfers, and extensions.
• Support the strategic use of TransferRoom, ensuring opportunities align with club strategy and individual player pathways.
• Support the Head of Recruitment and Squad Planning in assessing and developing partner clubs for loans and long-term player pathways.
• Provide sporting and market insight for partnership evaluations, development objectives, and monitoring KPIs.
• Build and maintain a strong network of loan managers, sporting directors, clubs, and key football stakeholders.
• Prepare and maintain loan scenarios, player pathways, and destination club options for the Pre-Market Operational Plan.
• Provide market intelligence for transfer window tracking and contribute to post-market performance reviews.
• Ensure Player Market Cards and Valuation Notes accurately reflect current market intelligence.
• Maintain consistent and high-quality reporting across all loan, pathway, and market intelligence processes.
• Stay updated on developments in football markets, regulations, and relevant industry tools.
• Maintain high standards of integrity, confidentiality, and discretion when handling sensitive information.
• Support additional responsibilities as needed by the football department.
