The Port Captain Role

Front End Limited Company is seeking a dedicated and experienced Port Captain for a full-time, on-site position based in Al Khobar, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This role is central to overseeing daily marine and vessel operations, ensuring maximum efficiency and strict compliance with both international and company standards. The Port Captain will be instrumental in maintaining operational excellence and resolving any issues related to port and marine activities.

Core Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily marine and vessel operations.
• Ensure maximum operational efficiency and adherence to international and company standards.
• Conduct thorough vessel inspections.
• Ensure proper maintenance and optimal performance of vessels.
• Manage all aspects of maritime operations.
• Coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth port activities.

Experience and Qualifications

• A minimum of four (4) years of experience as Master on assigned vessel types, specifically Non-DP Crew Boats or Offshore Security Patrol Boats.
• Must be qualified to serve as a temporary Master at any given time.
• Willingness to undergo Saudi Aramco evaluation as required.
• Previous Saudi Aramco Approvals as Master or Port Captain for Crew/Patrol Boats are required.
• Prior experience in the shipping, logistics, or maritime industry is highly desirable.

Required Certifications and Documents

• Certificate of Competency with Proof of Verification.
• Certificate of Competency Endorsement.
• GMDSS Certificate.
• All STCW Certificates, including Medical Care.
• Bridge Resource Management certification.
• Valid Passport (at least 06 months remaining validity).
• Seaman Book with all sea time entries (at least 06 months remaining validity).
• Marlins Test with a minimum of 80% marks and online verification proof.
• Medical Fitness certificate (at least 03 months remaining validity).
• H2S Familiarization Course completion.
• BOSIET (Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training) certification.
• HUET (Helicopter Underwater Escape Training) certification.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Al Khobar, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. The role requires a dedicated professional to contribute to Front End Limited Company's operational excellence in the maritime sector. Salary for this position will be discussed during the interview process.
