About the Role

DYNEX Arabia is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join its team in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to optimizing procurement processes and ensuring efficient organizational operations. The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for sourcing high-quality goods and services, negotiating contracts, and maintaining strong vendor relationships, directly impacting the company's operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, ensuring alignment with company objectives and budget.
Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure optimal terms, pricing, and quality standards, fostering long-term relationships.
Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to delivery, utilizing procurement software for order tracking and inventory monitoring.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and provide tailored solutions that enhance operational efficiency and support project deadlines.
Regularly evaluate supplier performance to ensure compliance with contract terms and quality standards, implementing corrective actions as needed.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, facilitating open communication and resolving any issues.
Prepare detailed reports on procurement activities, including cost savings, supplier performance metrics, and policy compliance.
Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in procurement to improve processes and drive value.
Assist in the development and implementation of procurement policies and procedures to ensure consistency, transparency, and efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
Demonstrated ability to optimize procurement processes and manage vendor relationships effectively.
Experience in contract negotiation and supplier performance evaluation.
Proficiency in using procurement software for tracking orders and monitoring inventory.
