About the Role

Abdullah A. Al-Barrak & Son Co. is seeking a highly experienced QA/QC Manager to join their team in Al Khobar, Eastern Province. This full-time role is critical for ensuring the comprehensive and efficient implementation of the quality management system (QMS) across various projects and operational activities within an EPC environment.

Role Overview

The QA/QC Manager will be responsible for overseeing project quality, ensuring adherence to established codes, standards, regulations, and QMS requirements. This position involves delegating tasks to QA/QC Engineers and Supervisors, and fostering close collaboration with Engineering, Procurement, and Construction teams. The role also encompasses advancing quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization, with occasional corporate QA/QC tasks as required.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee project quality to ensure compliance with codes, standards, regulations, and QMS requirements.
Drive quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization.
Manage the development and implementation of the QMS for Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Bidding/Business Development, Project Planning and Controls, Document Control, Information Technology (IT), Human Resources, and Senior/Top Management for all operational and day-to-day activities.
Oversee the Integrated Management System (IMS) function of QA/QC professionals across multiple EPC projects.
Ensure the implementation of corporate QA policies, quality objectives, and audit programs.
Verify compliance frameworks are aligned with international standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
Lead quality reviews for technical and commercial bids, ensuring full compliance with client specifications, statutory requirements, and project-specific QHSE deliverables.
Participate in tender evaluations and risk reviews, identifying QA/QC scope, contractual obligations, and risk mitigation strategies.
Oversee project quality planning, including QA deliverables, client approvals, engineering document reviews, and final dossier compilation.
Coordinate with Procurement and Engineering teams to embed QA/QC protocols in the sourcing and vendor qualification process.
Manage audit programs (certification/re-certification), Aramco Project Quality Index (PQI) performance, and non-conformance trends across business units.
Prepare and present quality performance dashboards and strategic insights to executive leadership.
Manage and participate in high-level client audits and board reviews.
