Senior Development Manager

About the Role

Ethra For Human Resources Consulting is seeking a Senior Development Manager for a full-time position in Al Khobar. This role involves leading residential project development from initial planning and design through approvals, construction monitoring, and handover. The Senior Development Manager will serve as the primary contact with major master developers, specifically NHC, ensuring project alignment with business plans, financial objectives, and design requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of residential projects from planning and design through approvals, construction monitoring, and handover.
• Act as the main point of contact between the company and major master developers, particularly NHC.
• Manage direct coordination with NHC and ensure compliance with their development processes and requirements.
• Review designs, floor plans, and product concepts to ensure alignment with project objectives and market requirements.
• Develop and maintain business plans, financial models, budgets, timelines, and project feasibility.
• Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project progress, risks, budget, and timelines to ensure successful delivery.
• Support the Design team and ensure the project vision and development strategy are achieved.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams on product mix, pricing, and sales strategy.
• Lead stakeholder communication and provide clear project updates, recommendations, and presentations to management.

Qualifications and Experience

• An architecture background is preferred; engineering or other relevant educational backgrounds will also be considered.
• Relevant experience in Real Estate Development, typically 6–15+ years, with a focus on the quality and relevance of the candidate’s experience.
• Previous experience working on NHC projects is required.
• Direct experience coordinating with the NHC Development Team and acting as the main Point of Contact between the Real Estate Developer and NHC is essential.
• Experience in residential real estate development projects, particularly Villas and Apartments.
• Experience specifically within the Development function is required.
• Candidates whose experience is primarily in Construction Management, Project Management, Design Management, Consulting, or Contracting are not suitable for this role.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Al Khobar, focusing on residential real estate development projects. The role requires extensive coordination with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and external stakeholders, particularly NHC.
