Structural Inspector at AtkinsRéalis

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Structural Inspector to join our team in Al Khobar, Eastern Province. This full-time position is for a skilled professional with 5-10 years of experience in structural assessments, particularly within large-scale projects.

Role Overview and Project Focus

The Structural Inspector will specialize in structural assessments for a Stadium Project. This role involves conducting thorough inspections of structures, evaluating their structural integrity, and providing detailed reports on their condition. A strong background in civil engineering, with a focus on bridges and other structures, is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct routine and specialized inspections of structures to assess their integrity and safety.
Utilize various inspection methods, including visual assessments, non-destructive testing, and instrumentation, to evaluate the condition of structural components.
Document and record detailed findings during inspections, including any signs of deterioration, damage, or potential hazards.
Prepare comprehensive inspection reports outlining the structural condition, the severity of identified issues, and recommendations for maintenance or repairs.
Collaborate with engineering teams to analyze inspection data and develop repair and maintenance plans for structures.
Stay current on industry standards, codes, and regulations related to structural inspection and engineering.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior inspectors or engineering staff involved in structural inspections.
Work closely with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that inspection activities are coordinated effectively and project timelines are met.
Participate in meetings with clients, regulatory agencies, and other relevant parties to communicate inspection findings and recommendations.

Qualifications and Experience

5-10 years of experience as a Structural Inspector or in a similar role focusing on structural assessments.
Strong background in civil engineering, with a focus on bridges and structures.
Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough inspections and evaluate structural integrity.
Excellent analytical skills and a deep understanding of structural engineering principles.
A keen eye for detail in identifying and documenting structural issues.
