About the Team Leader - CIT (Manufacturing) Role

Almarai, a leading food and beverage manufacturing and distribution company, is seeking a Team Leader for its CIT (Manufacturing) department. This full-time position is based in Al-Kharj. The role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Microbiology laboratory function to ensure consistent and accurate microbiological testing according to established regimes. The Team Leader will also be responsible for maintaining controlled documents and analytical data, providing timely and accurate reports to management.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

The primary objective of this role is to manage the Microbiology laboratory effectively and efficiently. This includes ensuring that all microbiological tests are conducted with precision and adherence to sampling and testing protocols. A key aspect of the role is maintaining the integrity of laboratory data, ensuring that controlled documents and analytical results are updated correctly and communicated to management in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the daily activities of the Microbiology laboratory.
• Ensure microbiological tests are conducted consistently and accurately.
• Adhere to the established sampling and testing regime.
• Maintain and update controlled documents within the laboratory.
• Ensure analytical data is correctly updated and managed.
• Provide timely and accurate reports to management.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology or Medical Laboratory science.
• Fluency in English.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within a dairy and food factory environment.
• A total of 2-5 years of relevant experience is required.
