About the Job
An ideal Receptionist is responsible for providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere for Guests, managing reservations and seating arrangements, and answering phone calls and customer inquiries. The Receptionist will work collaboratively with the restaurant's management team to ensure that Guests service and quality standards are met.

Academic Qualifications:
High school diploma or above. Additional education or training in hospitality or customer service is preferred.
Experience:
Previous experience in a customer service position. Fresh Graduates are welcome.
Language Skill:
Proficient in English, both verbally & written.
Technical & Soft Skills:
Excellent time management, strong customer service skills, organized and reliable person, ability to work and adapt in a multi-cultural environment, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact with customers, colleagues, and management in a professional and courteous manner.

Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Greet Guests as they enter the restaurant, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere and directing them to their tables.
- Manage Guests reservations and seating arrangements, ensuring that each Guest is seated promptly and according to their preferences.
- Handle and maintain the restaurant's reservation management system, ensuring that it is up-to-date and accurate at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service, going above and beyond to exceed Guests expectations and ensure a positive dining experience.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a smooth and efficient dining experience for all Guests.
- Maintain knowledge of the restaurant's menu and ingredients, including any changes due to seasonality or availability.
- Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries, providing accurate and helpful information about the restaurant's menu, hours, and policies.
- Manage the restaurant waitlist, communicating wait times and seating availability to Guests and coordinating with staff to manage the flow of Guests.
- Maintain accurate records of reservations, cancellations, and Guests information, using reservation management system or handwritten records.
- Manage and maintain the restaurant's coat check and lost and found, ensuring that items are returned to Guests promptly and accurately.
- Assist with the coordination of special events, including managing reservations, arranging seating, and communicating with Guests about their needs and preferences.
- Work collaboratively with the restaurant's management team to ensure that Guests service and quality standards are met.
- Handle Guests complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, escalating them to restaurant management if needed.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, representing the restaurant in a positive manner to Guests and colleagues alike.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on company policies, procedures, initiatives, and current trends and best practices.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, including adhering to uniform and grooming standards.
- Perform other duties as required from the direct manager.
