Role Overview

Al Tuwairqi Group is seeking a dedicated Assistant, Bar Sorter to join our team in Dammam. This full-time role is essential for supporting the efficient sorting of rebars, ensuring accurate delivery and adherence to production schedules within our operations.

Core Responsibilities

• Assist Bar Sorters in identifying and segregating rebars according to specified size, grade, and batch requirements.
• Support the movement of sorted bars to designated stacking or storage locations within the facility.
• Aid in the transport of rebars within the sorting and cooling bed areas.
• Ensure the safe stacking and proper alignment of bars to prevent damage and maintain order.

Operational Support and Coordination

• Contribute to the routine maintenance and cleaning of sorting equipment and associated work areas.
• Report any equipment faults, malfunctions, or safety concerns promptly to supervisors.
• Collaborate effectively with Bar Sorters, Cooling Bed Operators, and Forklift Operators to ensure smooth workflow.
• Communicate any observed production or quality issues to supervisors as required.

Workplace Safety and Housekeeping

• Adhere strictly to all established safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Maintain the sorting area in a clean, organized, and hazard-free condition.
• Actively assist in fostering and maintaining a safe work environment for all team members.

Experience Requirements

Candidates for this position should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting, ideally involving material handling, sorting, or logistics operations.
