About the Role: Assistant, Bar Sorter

Al Tuwairqi Group is seeking an Assistant, Bar Sorter to join its operations in Dammam. This full-time position is crucial for supporting the efficient sorting of rebars according to size, grade, and batch. The primary objective is to ensure accurate delivery and compliance with established production schedules. Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in an industrial setting.

Core Responsibilities

• Assist Bar Sorters in identifying and segregating rebars as per production requirements, and moving sorted bars to designated stacking or storage locations.
• Support the transport of rebars within the sorting and cooling bed areas, ensuring safe stacking and proper alignment of bars.
• Aid in the maintenance and cleaning of sorting equipment and work areas, promptly reporting any equipment faults or safety concerns to supervisors.
• Collaborate effectively with Bar Sorters, Cooling Bed Operators, and Forklift Operators to ensure smooth workflow.
• Communicate any production or quality issues to supervisors in a timely manner.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Maintain a clean and hazard-free sorting area, actively contributing to a safe work environment.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a related industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Basic understanding of bar sorting operations and processes.

Essential Skills and Attributes

• Physical capability to perform manual material handling tasks effectively and safely.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues and supervisors.
• Demonstrated knowledge of industrial safety procedures and practices.
