About the Role

Al Tuwairqi Group is seeking a dedicated Assistant, Bar Sorter to join its full-time operations team in Dammam. This role is integral to maintaining efficiency and accuracy in our material handling processes, requiring 2-5 years of relevant experience in an industrial setting.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this position is to assist Bar Sorters in the precise sorting of rebars. This involves categorizing materials according to specific size, grade, and batch requirements to ensure accurate delivery and compliance with established production schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support in identifying and segregating rebars as per production specifications.
• Assist in moving sorted bars to their designated stacking or storage locations.
• Support the transport of rebars within the sorting and cooling bed areas.
• Ensure the safe stacking and proper alignment of bars to prevent damage or hazards.
• Aid in the routine maintenance and cleaning of sorting equipment and work areas.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly to supervisors.
• Collaborate effectively with Bar Sorters, Cooling Bed Operators, and Forklift Operators.
• Communicate any production-related or quality issues to supervisors as required.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Basic understanding of material handling practices and workplace safety procedures.

Work Environment and Collaboration

This position operates within the dynamic environment of the sorting and cooling bed areas. The Assistant, Bar Sorter will work collaboratively with a team of skilled operators and sorters, contributing to a coordinated and efficient workflow essential for meeting production demands.

• Adhere strictly to all established safety protocols and consistently wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free sorting area at all times.
• Actively contribute to fostering and maintaining a safe work environment for all personnel.
