The Role: Design Engineer (Tamheer or COOP)

TechnipFMC is seeking a Design Engineer for a full-time position in Dammam, Eastern Region. This role is suitable for individuals with 0-1 years of experience and is open to candidates eligible for the Tamheer program or a COOP placement. The Design Engineer will support the Facility & Maintenance Department in enhancing the workplace environment through various design and improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Support workplace design and facility improvement projects.
• Assist with space planning, layout development, and design presentations.
• Recommend furniture, finishes, and lighting concepts for various spaces.
• Conduct site visits, accurately take measurements, and document existing conditions.
• Coordinate effectively with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project alignment.
• Ensure all design solutions and project implementations comply with safety and company standards.
• Maintain comprehensive design documents, drawings, and project records.
• Support initiatives related to workplace branding and visual identity elements.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Eligibility for the Tamheer program or a COOP placement.
• Basic understanding of interior design principles and space planning.
• Awareness of workplace safety and relevant standards.
• Basic design software training (*, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe) is considered a plus.
