Tamm operates as an all-in-one platform designed for online selling within Saudi Arabia. The platform provides sellers with essential tools including a storefront, payment processing, ZATCA-compliant e-invoicing, and delivery services. Tamm also runs its own print-on-demand factory in Dammam, enabling individuals to launch brands without requiring inventory or upfront capital. Products are manufactured only upon sale, then printed, packed, and shipped, eliminating warehouse needs and financial risk.

The Role: Founding AI Engineer

Tamm is seeking a Founding AI Engineer to take ownership of the artificial intelligence systems that power its platform. This full-time, remote position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience and offers significant influence over the integration of AI across the product. The successful candidate will define the AI architecture and model strategy, establish the necessary infrastructure, and contribute directly to feature development.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish the AI architecture and model strategy across the entire product.
• Develop the shared AI engine, covering orchestration, retrieval, evaluations, model serving, and cost control.
• Implement agentic and generative features directly into the live commerce platform.
• Define the standards and benchmarks for future AI team development.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience shipping agentic or LLM products to production environments.
• Strong applied engineering skills in TypeScript/Node and/or Python.
• Hands-on experience with orchestration, tool use, retrieval, and evaluation frameworks.
• Ability to manage infrastructure end-to-end, including hosting, fine-tuning, and deployment.
• Exhibits founder energy, characterized by high autonomy, strong ownership, and continued hands-on coding.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating AI into e-commerce or creator-focused products.
• Proficiency in fine-tuning and model hosting on AWS or Kubernetes.
• Prior experience leading or mentoring other engineers.

This is a 100% remote, full-time position.
