About the Role

Dana Rayhaan by Rotana is seeking an Information Technology Manager to join our team in Dammam. This full-time role is responsible for overseeing the operation, installation, and maintenance of all computer hardware and systems within the hotel. The ideal candidate will be a passionate and dynamic IT professional focused on delivering high levels of customer service and providing effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary contact for all servicing of computer PC hardware.
Maintain licenses for all software and ensure systems are covered by appropriate maintenance contracts.
Manage a sufficient inventory of computer-related supplies.
Maintain logs for all computer hardware and service calls.
Oversee the configuration records, program files, and data files on the computer system.
Monitor computer software performance and maintain logs of performance reports, error and integrity check reports, system malfunctions, and solutions.
Install and test corporate-approved program changes to hotel computer systems.
Investigate and report software problems to vendors, or MIS regional, area, or corporate offices.
Train selected hotel employees to assume major system management responsibilities during your absence.
Maintain technical and user documentation, system reports, and newsletters.
Complete and distribute a monthly activities report to the Corporate Vice President - Information Technology.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in information technology, with a focus on hardware and software management and customer service within an IT environment.

Skills and Attributes

Strong technical proficiency in computer hardware installation and maintenance.
Ability to manage software licenses and maintenance contracts effectively.
Proficiency in monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
Ability to train and support non-technical staff.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, where you will be an integral part of the Dana Rayhaan by Rotana team, contributing to the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure.
