The Role of Key Account Manager East

Reckitt Benckiser is seeking a Key Account Manager East for a full-time position in the Eastern Province. This role involves developing and implementing sales strategies tailored to specific customers, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, and managing ongoing customer relationships within the assigned region. The Key Account Manager is responsible for the entire scope of Reckitt's commercial interaction with customers, encompassing sales strategy development and the management of promotional activities. The position requires close cross-functional collaboration with teams such as trade marketing, planning, marketing, logistics, and finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve strategic objectives for each customer, including Net Revenue (NR), Cost of Production (COP), Gross Margin, and Net Working Capital (NWC).
• Cultivate long-term partnerships with customers and manage negotiations in line with Reckitt Benckiser's commercial strategy and customer trading terms.
• Implement and manage the category strategy for each customer account.
• Develop and execute promotional strategies per customer, including trade budget management, range optimization, and space allocation.
• Formulate customer new product launch plans and ensure their successful implementation.
• Acquire in-depth knowledge of Reckitt's diverse product portfolio and sales processes.
• Collaborate on the creation and application of sales strategies relevant to market dynamics.
• Work closely with internal teams to support initiatives aimed at achieving sales targets.
• Conduct detailed market research and data analysis to identify new sales avenues.
• Provide customer service and respond to client queries with care and efficiency.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• 0-1 years of experience in Sales within the FMCG Industry, ideally within Key Account Management.
• Demonstrated aspiration to excel in a sales career.
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Sharp analytical skills, with comfort in working with data to extract insights.
• A proactive mindset, capable of thriving in a dynamic work setting.
• Ability to maintain composure and deliver results under pressure.
• Strong organizational skills and the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
