About the Logistics Project Manager Role

GE Vernova is seeking a Logistics Project Manager to join our team in Dammam, Eastern region. This full-time role is central to supporting project operations and programs, encompassing standardization, quality management, documentation management, method creation and maintenance, and the continuous improvement of processes and tools within the project management function. The position directly influences the team's ability to achieve critical service, quality, and deadline objectives, operating with moderate autonomy under established operational policy objectives. Success in this role requires a high degree of operational discernment to deliver expected outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct or indirect leadership for overall project operations, including activities with centralized shared resources for client projects and/or project monitoring.
• Apply specialized functional knowledge to influence strategy development within the area of responsibility, including resource control and policy formulation.
• Interpret simple internal and external business issues and recommend best practices to enhance products, processes, or services, staying informed of relevant industry trends.
• Exercise a high level of discernment to make decisions and manage complex tasks or problems across operations, product management, manufacturing, technology, or engineering domains.
• Evaluate the quality of information provided and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders.
• Resolve problems with innovative solutions that extend beyond established parameters and develop comprehensive recommendations.
• Engage internal and external resources outside of own function to support decision-making processes.
• Lead functional teams or projects with reduced resource needs, risks, and/or complexity, as required.
• Articulate complex concepts and influence colleagues' opinions on specific subjects, encouraging alternative perspectives.

Qualifications and Experience

• Advanced functional experience in project or logistics management.
• Master's degree equivalent from an accredited university, or a Bachelor's degree with relevant experience.
• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a relevant field.
