About the Opportunity

Iduast Company is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join its team in Dammam, Eastern region. This is a full-time position focused on ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of production equipment and factory utility systems.

Role Overview

The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for maintaining all production equipment and factory utility systems to ensure safe, reliable, and continuous operation. The role emphasizes preventive maintenance strategies, effective troubleshooting, enhancing equipment reliability, and minimizing production downtime across the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot transformer manufacturing equipment, including winding, core cutting, drying, oil processing, and testing equipment.
• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs to effectively reduce equipment downtime.
• Maintain factory utilities such as HVAC systems, compressors, electrical distribution networks, and general facility systems.
• Support the installation and commissioning processes for new equipment.
• Perform root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Monitor key maintenance performance indicators (KPIs) including Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), Mean Time To Repair (MTTR), and overall equipment availability.
• Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance records utilizing CMMS/ERP systems.
• Ensure strict compliance with HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment) standards, LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures, and all electrical safety requirements.
• Coordinate effectively with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to optimize operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in a maintenance engineering role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated technical proficiency in maintaining industrial production equipment and utility systems.
• Experience with CMMS/ERP systems for maintenance management and record-keeping.
• Strong understanding of HSSE, LOTO, and electrical safety protocols.
