About the Medical Science Liaison Role

Jamjoom Pharma is seeking a dedicated Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join its team in Dammam. This full-time, field-based role serves as a crucial scientific expert and primary point of contact between the company and healthcare professionals. The MSL is accountable for executing marketing plans and activities in alignment with the sales team.

Role Context and Objectives

The Medical Science Liaison is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals, acting as a vital scientific resource. This position contributes significantly to the overall territory growth and achievement targets, particularly for cardiometabolic products within the assigned region.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct visits to Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals, providing comprehensive reports on interactions.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with KOLs and healthcare professionals to facilitate scientific exchange and gather insights on product usage and clinical practices.
• Act as a scientific resource for internal teams and external stakeholders, offering detailed information about products, clinical data, and therapeutic areas.
• Deliver presentations and participate in discussions at medical conferences, advisory boards, and other professional gatherings to share knowledge and gather feedback.
• Collaborate closely with marketing and sales teams to ensure alignment on product messaging and strategy.
• Stay informed on the latest guidelines, clinical trials, and developments in the therapeutic area to provide accurate and relevant information.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical Science Liaison position, preferably within Ophthalmology.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a medical representative.
• Proven work experience within the Saudi market is essential.
• Additional certifications in relevant therapeutic or commercial fields are considered an advantage.

Required Skills

• Strong scientific background.
• Proficiency in Key Opinion Leader (KOL) management and engagement.
• Ability to interpret complex scientific data.

Reporting and Work Environment

This is a full-time, field-based position located in Dammam. The Medical Science Liaison will report directly to Sales Supervisors within their assigned territory, working collaboratively to achieve product objectives.
