About the Role

Al Tuwairqi Group is seeking an experienced Equipment Operator for a full-time position in Dammam. This role involves operating various heavy equipment to manage raw materials and finished products within the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate heavy automobile equipment and stacker reclaimers according to instructions and schedules provided by the Foreman.
• Handle raw materials, specifically pellets, and finished products, including DRI (Direct Reduced Iron).
• Distribute materials to designated areas as required.
• Remove unwanted materials such as sludge and oxide fines, relocating them to appropriate areas for further processing.
• Load and dispatch DRI fines as directed by the Foreman.
• Maintain day bin levels through timely stacking and reclaiming of raw material pellets.
• Ensure all tasks are completed on time and safely, following instructions from the in-charge personnel.

Equipment Operation and Maintenance

• Possess knowledge of operating equipment such as wheel loaders, forklifts, and Bobcats.
• Conduct regular checks of equipment to ensure proper functioning and maintain cleanliness.
• Coordinate with the automobile section for planned maintenance of equipment.
• Perform cleaning of equipment and housekeeping of stackers as per schedule.
• Report to the foreman upon completion of assigned jobs.
• Hand over all equipment to the senior operator at the end of the shift, detailing any pending tasks.

Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E)

• Understand and adhere to the organization's HS&E policies.
• Follow all safety instructions relevant to assigned tasks.
• Report any damaged Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), unsafe machines, or equipment to the concerned staff.
• Maintain provided PPE in good and workable condition.
• Refrain from horseplay and the misuse of safety devices, equipment, and welfare facilities.
• Report all accidents, near misses, or hazardous conditions to the responsible personnel.
• Attend all scheduled safety training sessions.
• Exercise the right to refuse any unsafe work.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates are required to have between 3 to 10 years of relevant experience in equipment operation. A strong understanding of operating heavy machinery and adherence to safety protocols is essential.
