Project Planning Engineer

About the Role

Abunayyan Holding is seeking a Project Planning Engineer to join their Projects/Operations team in Dammam, Eastern Region. This is a full-time position for an experienced professional responsible for developing and managing project time plans to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Role Overview

The Project Planning Engineer will play a key role in project execution by defining objectives, coordinating activities, and monitoring progress. This position requires a detail-oriented individual capable of managing complex schedules and supporting project managers in various planning capacities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and define project goals, objectives, and detailed schedules.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor project activities to ensure smooth execution.
• Prepare short- and long-term resource allocation plans.
• Monitor project progress, risks, milestones, and schedule performance.
• Identify changes in project scope and support planning adjustments.
• Prepare and present regular internal and external project reports.
• Gather actual project data, update schedules, and prepare reliable forecasts.
• Support Project Managers in Integrated Baseline Review and baseline schedule development.
• Coordinate client planning activities and respond to customer requirements.
• Prepare and manage risk assessments for assigned projects.

Qualifications and Experience

• A qualified and detail-oriented professional.
• 5-10 years of experience as a Projects Planner or Planning Engineer.

Work Environment

This role is based in Dammam, Eastern Region, and is a full-time position within the Projects/Operations team at Abunayyan Holding.
