Technical Sales Support Manager

About the Role

Jotun Saudia Co. Ltd. is seeking a Technical Sales Support Manager to lead the Technical Service Support department. This full-time position is based in Dammam, Eastern, Saudi Arabia, and reports directly to the Protective & Marine Segment Director. The role involves close cooperation with various organizational functions, staff coaching and training, and active involvement in operational matters to ensure the Performance Coatings business operates with safe and efficient systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage responses to technical inquiries related to coating systems, specifications, guarantees, and application to ensure expected performance and minimize claim risks.
• Oversee the technical aspects of Performance Coatings complaint processes, ensuring timely resolution and customer feedback.
• Drive internal learning from complaint processes through regular reviews, action plans, root cause identification, and monitoring of corrective actions.
• Ensure knowledge transfer to the local organization through training, covering general technical knowledge, specific product knowledge, and global working processes within Marine and Protective coatings.
• Lead and develop the team, ensuring appropriate staffing and competence profiles to achieve objectives, and support the R&D function with trial applications and field testing.
• Implement technical service policies, procedures, and operating structures to meet Jotun’s quality standards.
• Develop local Technical Sales Support business plans and department operations, including short and long-term budget development, in line with Marine and Protective strategy.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience. The role requires a professional who can quickly understand and analyze complex issues, make sound judgments, and communicate effectively.
