Technician Fishing Tools

About the Role

Rawabi Archer Company is seeking a Technician Fishing Tools to join their team in Dammam. This full-time role involves performing essential maintenance activities for the company's workshop, focusing on both preventive and corrective maintenance for fishing tools and equipment used in oil and gas operations. The ideal candidate will have 0-1 years of experience in a related field.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform regular inspections and maintenance on tools, equipment, machinery, and facilities, reporting any malfunctions to the supervisor for repair.
• Identify and acquire the necessary tools required to execute maintenance requests efficiently.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and repair work on machinery, tools, and equipment as needed.
• Install new or repaired parts after dismantling defective tools and equipment.
• Register equipment transported from various locations, noting serial/asset numbers, and ensure timely identification and return of third-party rental equipment, coordinating with invoicing and logistics personnel.
• Execute full strip-down, visual inspection, assembly, and testing of downhole tools in compliance with Rawabi Archer’s standards and regulations.
• Respond to emergencies and provide support for workshop needs that arise outside regular working hours, if required.
• Prepare equipment loadouts, shipping baskets, and workshop containers with equipment utilized in operations.
• Transport equipment and parts within the workshop facility using a forklift truck or overhead crane.
• Adhere to work instructions and occupational health and safety guidelines, ensuring the use of personal protective equipment, including safety goggles, appropriate footgear, back support, and vinyl gloves.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties related to the job as assigned by the Direct Manager.

• Proficiency in operating and maintaining fishing tools utilized in oil and gas rigs.
• Knowledge of various fishing techniques and procedures.
• Ability to troubleshoot and efficiently resolve issues with fishing tools.
• Experience in overseeing fishing operations and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with rig crew and supervisors.
• Understanding of rig equipment and overall operations to contribute to successful fishing operations.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience in a technical or maintenance role, preferably within the oil and gas industry or a similar heavy equipment environment.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, requiring active participation in workshop activities and adherence to strict health and safety guidelines.
