About the Role

Business Tribune Global Company is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Accountant to join its Finance team in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time position is responsible for managing the complete accounts payable cycle, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices, employee expenses, and vendor payments.

Role Purpose

The Accounts Payable Accountant will maintain financial accuracy and operational efficiency within the organization. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of accounting principles and internal controls to uphold the company's financial integrity and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and accurately input vendor invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documents into the financial system.
• Schedule and process outgoing payments, including bank transfers, checks, and wire transfers, in accordance with company credit terms and cash flow policies.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor billing inquiries, investigating and resolving discrepancies, billing errors, and payment holds while maintaining positive vendor relationships.
• Perform regular monthly reconciliations of accounts payable ledgers and vendor statements to ensure all liabilities are accurately recorded.
• Review, audit, and process employee travel and expense reimbursement claims, ensuring adherence to BTGC’s internal corporate travel and expense policies.
• Assist the finance team with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including preparing AP accruals, journal entries, and supporting documentation for external auditors.
• Ensure all AP activities comply with local tax regulations (such as VAT/Withholding Tax) and internal audit standards. Assist in generating monthly AP aging reports and cash outflow forecasts.

Required Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role or a similar financial position.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and internal controls.
• Demonstrated ability to manage the full cycle of accounts payable.
