AutoCAD Draftsman

About the Role

Matar Holding Company is seeking an AutoCAD Draftsman to join their team in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time role involves preparing accurate 2D drawings and 3D models for automotive radiator and cooling system components. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in mechanical drafting, manufacturing drawings, and engineering documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and modify 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD.
• Develop detailed drawings for automotive radiators, cooling systems, and related components.
• Prepare fabrication, assembly, and component drawings with accurate dimensions and tolerances.
• Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and technical drawings.
• Coordinate with design, production, and quality teams to ensure drawing accuracy and manufacturability.
• Revise drawings based on engineering changes and production requirements.
• Maintain drawing records, revision histories, and technical documentation.
• Support the engineering team in resolving drawing-related production issues.

Required Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in mechanical drafting, manufacturing drawings, and engineering documentation.

Preferred Industry Background

• Automotive radiator and heat exchanger manufacturing.
• Aluminium or copper/brass radiator production.
• Automotive component manufacturing and sheet metal fabrication.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, within the Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia. The role involves collaboration with various internal teams including design, production, and quality assurance.
