About the Role

Crown Holdings, is seeking a Cans Deco Mechanic to join our team in Dammam, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position focused on ensuring the optimal operation of can decoration equipment within our production facility.

Role Purpose

The Cans Deco Mechanic is responsible for the comprehensive maintenance and repair of can decoration machinery. The primary objective of this role is to ensure efficient production processes and the consistent delivery of high-quality printed cans by maintaining equipment reliability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on can decoration machinery, including presses, coaters, and ovens.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues affecting can decorators.
• Execute repairs and replacements of faulty components, such as gears, bearings, cylinders, and electrical controls.
• Conduct equipment changeovers and adjustments for different can sizes and print designs.
• Monitor equipment during operation to identify potential problems and ensure adherence to production specifications.
• Collaborate with production operators to optimize machine performance and minimize downtime.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage accurately.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies during maintenance and repair operations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 0-1 year of experience in a relevant mechanical or maintenance role.

This full-time position is based in Dammam, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia.
