About the Role

Crown Holdings is seeking a skilled Cans Front End Mechanic to join our team in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time position is essential for maintaining and repairing machinery within our can manufacturing facility, ensuring the efficient and continuous operation of front-end can production equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all front-end can manufacturing machinery, including cuppers, bodymakers, trimmers, and flangers.
Diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime.
Conduct routine inspections to identify potential problems and proactively address them.
Replace worn or defective parts, including bearings, gears, belts, and seals.
Adjust and calibrate machinery to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including Lockout/Tagout.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and report on equipment status.
Collaborate with production teams to optimize machine performance and production schedules.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training programs.

Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a similar mechanical maintenance role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated ability to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair complex machinery.
Proficiency in diagnosing mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

Required Skills

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical documentation such as blueprints and schematics.
Commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with production teams.

Work Environment

This role is based in our can manufacturing facility in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, operating on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will work within a production environment, collaborating closely with various teams to ensure operational excellence.
