About the Role

NextEra is seeking a Change Incident Management Specialist to join its team in Dammam, Eastern region. This is a full-time position focused on the governance of the end-to-end Change Management process. The specialist will play a critical role in ensuring that all changes are assessed, approved, implemented, and reviewed in a controlled manner.

Role Purpose and Objectives

The primary objective of this role is to minimize business risk and maintain service stability across operations. The specialist will be responsible for improving change success rates while ensuring strict compliance with ITIL best practices. This involves a proactive approach to managing change lifecycles and collaborating with related IT service management functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete lifecycle of Standard, Normal, and Emergency Changes.
• Review and validate Requests for Change (RFCs), including risk assessments, implementation plans, testing evidence, and rollback procedures.
• Chair Change Advisory Board (CAB) and Emergency CAB (eCAB) meetings.
• Maintain the Forward Schedule of Changes (FSC) and coordinate change windows.
• Assess change risks, business impact, dependencies, and deployment readiness.
• Conduct Post-Implementation Reviews (PIRs) for failed or backed-out changes.
• Collaborate with Incident and Problem Management teams to identify and reduce change-related incidents.
• Govern Emergency Changes to ensure proper review and compliance.
• Track and report key Change Management metrics, including change success rate, failed changes, emergency changes, and change-induced incidents.
• Drive continual improvement initiatives to enhance Change Management maturity and process effectiveness.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a Change Management role.
• Strong understanding and practical application of ITIL best practices in Change Management.

Work Setting

This full-time position is based in Dammam, within the Eastern region. The role involves working collaboratively within an IT service management framework to ensure operational stability and continuous improvement.
